How To Maintain A Car Battery

A car battery is typically rechargeable. It is an integral part of your car’s ignition system which powers other electrical devices in the car. Inspect the car battery cell casing and cover for any cracks. If there are signs of moisture and a strong sour smell, your battery might have leaks. Be extra careful when handling car cattery leaks because there are strong and harmful chemicals inside the battery.

If the fluid doesn’t reach the top of the plates inside the car battery, it must be top up with distilled water. Never use tap water! You can get distilled water specifically for car batteries of the counter in your nearest gas stations.
